Hotel in Mexico Offers Free Night With Animal Adoption
Visitors to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico can now stay for free at one of the city's hotels if they adopt a pet during their stay. The hotel, the Hacienda San Angel, is rewarding guests with a night on the house if they adopt a cat or dog from the city's Society for Prevention for Cruelty to Animals shelter.
The program is called "Puppy Love," and was started by hotel owner and local SPCA chapter founder Janice Chatterton. The main purpose, she says, is to help visitors find "a new and truly unconditional love" with the shelter's animals. Adopters can use their free night on a return visit within the next year.
